Horticulture

The mission of the Horticulture Program is:

  • To provide quality programs for members of the commercial horticulture community, with an emphasis on integrated pest management (IPM), pesticide training, and innovative, localized research.
  • To help Rensselaer County consumers maintain and improve their homes and grounds using environmentally-sound horticultural practices.
  • To create a dynamic Master Gardener program, which fosters leaders and teachers willing to share their knowledge with the community

Come join us in 2010 as we take a look at a variety of gardening topics sure to beautify your home and enliven your spirit. Each class starts at 7:00 PM and runs until about 8:30 PM.  Pre-registration is required.  Each class is $6.00 per person.  Individuals with questions or special needs requiring accommodation should contact Hort.
