4H Youth Development

Teen Exchange Members

• are 13 years old and older
• make a two-year commitment to Exchange
• choose a county to "exchange" with
• are matched up with 4-H'ers from the other county
• host 4-H'ers from the "Exchange" county one summer
• raise all of the money for activities when they host 4-H'ers here in Rensselaer County
• travel to the "Exchange" county one summer
• raise all the money for the trip to their exchange county

In the 2008-2010 Teen Interstate Exchange
East will meet West
when 4-H'ers from
Rensselaer County, New York
and
Union County, Oregon
will connect and visit each other.
