Teen Ambassadors promote 4-H Youth Development.

Dorm at State Fair
The 4-H Teen Ambassadors have been in existence in Rensselaer County since 1974. In any given year there are about a dozen teens whose mission is to promote Cornell Cooperative Extension and 4-H Youth Development. They meet monthly to work on their communication skills and to develop marketing strategies. They are responsible for the county booth at the New York State Fair, for overseeing the 4-H Building at the Schaghticoke Fair, and for producing News of the Fair.

Participation at STARR - the State Teen Action Reps Retreat - is the highlight of the year.
